Natural Resource Management Authorities (Caring for Country, Australian Government Land and Coasts Team) http://www.nrm.gov.au/resources/index.html Source of the Caring for Country program which funds the various natural resource management authorities across Australia. (Catchment Management Authorities in NSW and VIC, Natural Resource Managemment Boards in SA, etc). The site contains information about the program and has links to each regional authority.

Australian Native Plant Society (formerly SGAP) http://asgap.org.au/index.html Information on propagation and cultivation of native plants, focused on ornamental uses. Includes a searchable photo library.
Australian National Botanical Gardens http://www.anbg.gov.au/index.html Website of the Canberra gardens devoted solely to native plants. Good source of botanical and horticultural information. Includes Australian Plant Name Index and link to Australian Plant Census, the accepted authority for Australian plant scientific names and synonyms. Also includes National Plant Photographic Index and Flora of Australia online database.

Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/ PlantNET contains a range of botanical databases including FLORA search, containing all NSW vascular plant flora, with botanical keys and an information page for each species. The information is mostly the same as found in the four volume book series “Flora of NSW”, but also includes distribution maps and photos not included in the books.
